Bedibhawan Rabitirtha Vidyalaya (H.S.) organized by a group of young people for offering dedicated services of
Education and Culture to the growing generation of the refugee families settled
in Kalyani Sub-divisional area was started in the year 1978. Thanks to the
Department of Refugee, Relief & Rehabilitation, Govt. Of West Bengal for
their patronization by allotting an R.R. Land for this school.
A Society had to be formed by the
organisers; the Society of BEDIBHAWAN RABITIRTHA became the Sponsoring and
governing authority of the school. The school has been recognised by the WBBSE and subsequently, in the year 2023, the school has been recognised by the WBCHSE.
Being in an area of many backward
and poor-income families the school runs an Evening FREE-EDUCATION Unit viz.
‘KOMAL SHAKHA’ where the children of the poor helpless families get
educational, physical and cultural support and assistance.
